The most recent feature that has been added to the NOVA instrument is a micromanipulator which allows to move and rearrange samples or parts of a sample on a micro- and nanometer scale. The following clip gives an example of this feature. It shows how the micromanipulator is welded onto a little tin sphere. This sphere is then lifted up and placed onto another sphere at a different sample location.
